The Croatian Association of Artists in Split Have Something in Store for You Next Week

The Croatian Association of Artists in Split will open two exhibitions on Monday, August 22 - one by Rijeka artist Sanja Jureško and another by Osijek artist Krunoslav Dundović.

Sanja Jureško will be presenting “Tišina” (“Silence”) to Split audiences in Diocletian’s cellar (Podrum) at 21h, and Krunoslav Dundović will open his exhibition ''Hidden Spaces'' at Salon Galić at 22h on Monday, August 22.

 

In the western part of the substructure of Diocletian's Palace, Rijeka's young academic artist Sanja Jureško will present her work for the first time in Split. The artist, who is under the supervision of Professor Zlatko Kauzlarić Atač, completed graduate studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Her exhibition in Split is a cycle of works gathered under the title “Tišina”.

 

A portion of this series has already been exhibited in Zagreb’s Gallery Greta.

 

Krunoslav Dundović finished the School for Textile, Design and Applied Art - Painting Design in Osijek in 2006. In 2010, he completed undergraduate studies Fine Arts at the Art Academy in Osijek. In 2011, Dundović entered a graduate art major in painting.
