Representatives of Torcida and Our Hajduk community left the panel organized by the European Council and Ministry of Science, Education, and Sport
Representatives of Hajduk’s supporters club “Torcida” and “Our Hajduk” community of Hajduk’s members left the panel “Dialogue between supporters, club representatives, and local authorities” organized by the European Council and Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sport on October 12. 2016 in Split.
They released the public statement about the matter:
“KNH Torcida and Our Hajduk community were invited by the European Council and the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sport to the second panel of the “Promoting the Council of Europe Standards to safety, security and service at football matches and other sport events” project, with the theme “Dialogue between supporters, club representatives, and local authorities”. The representatives of Supporters Direct and Football Supporters Europe were also invited.
When our representatives came to the meeting this morning, they learned it is supposed that Zorislav Srebrić, the high adviser to the CFF president, Luka Radat, member of the “Uvijek Vjerni” supporters club executive board, and Miroslav Marković, CFF’s security officer would participate in the panel.
As we do not have the intention to enable credibility to the people not complying with the Croatian laws, and those who do not promote interests of the Croatian football, but are in service of only one man, who is paying for their meals and travels, we demanded the organizers to exclude them from participating in the panel.
It is unacceptable for us to discuss with servants of the absolute master of football in Croatia, man indicted for embezzling hundreds of million kunas, so we offered few options to work off the program. As there was no clear answer by the organizers, our representatives thanked for the invitation, submitted the documents prepared for this occasion and briefed the organizers about the decades of our battle against mafia in Croatian football, and left the assembly.
With this act, we send the message to the institutions in Croatia and abroad , who we have contacted many times in the past, that there can be no cooperation with the usurpers of the Croatian football, and being that CFF officials assent to calls for dialogue with Hajduk and supporters which are not at their payroll only when they are forced to, we expect with impatience the day when they will be compelled to kick out the mafia from their lines, and to comply with Croatian laws.
KNH Torcida and Our Hajduk”
