In the 9th round of Serie A, Fiorentina won with a score of 5:3 at Cagliari, and three of the goals were scored by Nikola Kalinic. The Croatian striker is continuing his dream week after he scored two goals against Liberec in the Champion’s League match a few days prior.
Against Cagliari, Kalinić first tied the game to make it 1:1, scoring a great header on a cross from Tella, reports Index.hr.
Kalinić was involved in the second goal for Fiorentina. He assisted Bernardeschi who was on the other post and easily checkmated Storari. Bernardeschi also scored the third goal for the visitors.
Federico Bernardeschi in the 40th minute marked his first assist in the game, and Kalinić scored his second goal from a fantastic shot from 16 meters.
The fifth goal of the game came from who other than Kalinić, who hit a header on a cross in from Tella.
This was Kalinić’s first hat trick of the season and fourth goal in the championship this season.
