Bundevijada, an annual exhibition of autochthonous food and customs of Gorski Kotar region, will be held in Vrbovsko on 21st and 22nd of October, reports Putovnica.net on September 29, 2017. This is the 13th edition of this unique event that aims to show what rich and fruitful autumn has to offer.
In Vrbovkso, the second largest settlement in Gorski Kotar, numerous folklore and cultural art societies will organise live musical performances and visitors will be able to try unusual and rare dishes as well as see some long forgotten traditions. Also, a competition for the smallest, the heaviest and the most interesting decorative pumpkin will be held at the festival grounds.
Bundevijada will once again be looking for the best dish or dessert. The backbone of the festival is the numerous exhibitors who will present their far and offer home-made products such as honey, cheese, liqueurs and sweets, as well as souvenirs and ornaments on colourful and beautifully decorated stands for the duration of the festival.
