ZAGREB, April 29, 2018 - Rovinj Photodays, one of the biggest photography festivals in this part of Europe, will be held on May 4 and 5 in the northern Adriatic town with exhibitions, workshops, presentations, portfolio reviews, meetings of photographers and photography lovers, and a show of this year's competition finalists.
The festival's central event will be a travelling exhibition of the works of finalists from Croatia (6), Slovenia (4), Serbia (3), Macedonia (3) and one each from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, Germany and Slovakia.
Their works were selected from 12,000 that were submitted from 46 countries and were divided in 7 competition categories: architecture, documentary photography, portraits, nature, nudes, fashion and artistic concepts.
The finalists this year are: Kiril Shtrkov, Zenir Šuko and Ivan Buvinić (architecture); Nik Erik Neubauer with two works and Denis Butorac in the fashion category; Zuzana Pustaiova, Filip Ilievski and Paulo Dukić (portrait); Sonja Žugić, Nina Knežević and Brigita Ercegović (landscape); Tea Stokavac, Sonja Stavrova and Andrea Stanišić (nudes); Nanna Heitmann, Zvonimir Tanocki and Igor Čoko (documentary photography), and Guram Chachanidze, Tilyen Mucik and Martino Lombezzi (artistic concept).
The festival's winner will be awarded the Grand Prix and a solo show at next year's Rovinj Photodays.
