Croatian Museum of Naïve Art

By 3 January 2017

This museum offers an insight into the world of the Naïve, artists mainly from the beginning of the 20th ct who were not trained artists, whose style sometimes seems childish, and some of the works don’t share common features one could fit into a single style. Nevertheless, the paintings and sculptures on display are a wonderful way to show that artistic education is not a guarantee of artistic value, and that not abiding by the prescribed rules can lead to unique works of art.
