Krešimir Kučko Resigns as Croatia Airlines Director

By 5 October 2017

Nominated by Zoran Milanović's former government, Kučko has left his position.

As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 4th of October, 2017, Kučko sent his letter of resignation to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.

He was nominated to be the Director of Croatia's National Carrier, Croatia Airlines, by the former government of Zoran Milanović, and his mandate expired 14 months ago.

During the time of the former Government of Tihomir Orešković and during the time of the current Government of Andrej Plenković, Kučko temporarily extended his mandate three times, until the election of a new director of the star alliance airline. Although the public bid for that position was announced in April this year, the government has still not decided which candidate it will be proposing to become the new Director of Croatia Airlines, Kučko is one of the candidates.
