The former Agrokor boss just can't seem to catch a break as a judge blocks his assets once again.
Despite being in London, Judge Devčić has blocked Ivica Todorić's assets and property once again.
Ivica Todorić would have you believe, if you were to follow his blog, that he has been made the victim of a politically fuelled witch-hunt which has seen the media, as well as the entire system turn against him. While the state has undoubtedly made some very wrong moves in attempting to handle the Agrokor crisis which came to light around one year ago, the decisions of the court to repeatedly block Todorić's assets (assets which he is known to claim that he doesn't actually have), speak volumes.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 15th of March, 2018, on Thursday, the Zagreb County Court blocked former Agrokor boss Ivica Todoric's assets once again, as well as the assets belonging to four other suspects in the continually messy Agrokor case, while rejecting Agrokor's request to block the assets of other members of the Todoric family, including those belonging to his children.
Along with Todorić himself, whose assets have now been placed under a block, the assets of the four other suspects in the case were subsequently blocked by court order, the four individuals in question are Tomislav Lučić, Ljerka Puljić, Damir Kuštrak and Olivija Discordija.
Agrokor's requests to block the assets of other former Agrokor high-flyers including Piruška Canjuga, Ivan Crnjac, Ante Todorić, Mislav Galić, Hrvoje Balent, Ivan Todorić, Alojzije Pandzic, Sanja Hrstić, Marijan Alagušić, Ivica Sertić and Ivo Balent, were rejected.
