As Dnevnik/Martina Bolsec Oblak writes on the 2nd of February, 2020, in KBC Osijek, there is currently a man in isolation as the first results of his coronavirus screening came back positive.

The second test for coronavirus came back negative, so the results of additional tests are now being waited on.

Shortly before 14:00, a plane carrying a Croatian citizen, otherwise a student from Wuhan, landed in Zagreb's Franjo Tudjman Airport, which left for Cambodia on January the 21st, 2020.

The student from Croatia has displayed no symptoms but has been referred for care at home with precaution until two more days have passed since the incubation period for coronavirus is fourteen days.

"There is absolutely no need to panic and no places are under threat. We planned to have an exercise, now we have an unplanned, real event. I didn't organise crisis measures, but an expert group to check the course of action before her arrival," said Health Minister Vili Beros.

Four Croats evacuated from the centre of the coronavirus epidemic, the Chinese city of Wuhan, are currently in the air, en route to France. Fourteen days of quarantine awaits them all.
