ZAGREB, 15 Oct 2021 - A total of 28,615 businesses operating in Croatia's wholesale and retail sector in 2020, employing 192,367 workers and earning HRK 260.2 billion in total revenues, according to an analysis by the Financial Agency (Fina) for the years 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2020.  By comparison, there were 27,044 wholesale and retail operators in 2004, 27,262 in 2009, and 26,260 in 2014. ZAGREB, 14 Oct 2021 - The average net pay in legal entities in Zagreb in July 2021 was HRK 8,130 (€1,082), an increase of 5.4% from July 2020, according to data from the city department for strategic planning and development. The average wage in the capital city was HRK 1,084 higher than the national average, which totaled HRK 7,046. ZAGREB, 14 October, 2021 - The Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC) road management company on Wednesday selected a consortium of Colas Hrvatska and Geotehnika for the construction of the Lekenik-Sisak section of the A11 motorway between Zagreb and Sisak, as the most economically advantageous bid of HRK 281.33 million without VAT. Once the contractors enter the construction site they will have 24 months to complete the work, HAC said in a press release. ZAGREB, 12 Oct (Hina) - The International Monetary Fund has revised upwards to 6.3% the projection of the Croatian economy's growth this year as well as the growth projection for 2022, according to the autumn world economic outlook released on Tuesday. ZAGREB, 12 October, 2021- Rijeka, Pula and Dubrovnik are the leaders this year with regard to digital readiness in Croatia, shows an analysis conducted by the Apsolon consulting company and released on Tuesday.
