HNL Round 16 Recap: Winter Season Ends with Dinamo and Osijek on Top of Table

December 21, 2020 - The 16th round of the Croatian First League was held on December 19 and 20, 2020. Only three games were played in the winter season's final round, putting Dinamo and Osijek on the top of the table.  Osijek v. Sibenik (1:0) Osijek and Sibenik opened the 16th round on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at City Garden Stadium.  The only goal of the match came in the 17th minute, thanks to a stellar header by Skoric for the 1:0 Osijek win.

December 20, 2020 - The Croatia women's handball team topped Denmark in the bronze medal fight at the European Championships in Denmark!  The Croatia women's handball team played their last match of the European Championships against the host of the tournament, Denmark, at 15:30 on Sunday.  Croatia lost in the semi-final to the powerful France, which dominated every part of the game and celebrated 30:19. Croatian MMA Fighter Antun Racic Defends Title as KSW Bantamweight Champion!

December 20, 2020 - On Saturday, Antun Racic (25-8-1) defended the title of KSW champion in the bantamweight category for the first time in his career. FightSite.hr reports that Antun Racic defended the title of KSW bantamweight champion with a unanimous decision of the refs after five exhausting rounds against the Brazilian Bruno Dos Santos. December 19, 2020 - Croatia and Denmark will play the third-place match of the Women's Handball Euros on Sunday at 3:30 pm in Denmark.  After losing to France in the semi-final on Friday, the Croatia women's handball team will play against the host Denmark in the match for third place at the European Championships. Snow Queen Trophy Ski Race to be Held on Schedule but Without Spectators

ZAGREB, Dec 18, 2020 - The FIS international ski federation and National Civil Protection Authority have officially approved the 2021 Snow Queen Trophy, FIS World Cup Ski race on Mount Sljeme in compliance with the most stringent epidemiological measures and without any spectators, FIS announced on Friday. 2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Croatia Meets Cyprus and Malta in Rijeka
