Flights to Croatia: Air Serbia to Five Destinations, Lufthansa Cancels Munich-Rijeka Route

July 2, 2020 - The latest news from around Croatia’s airports for flights to Croatia with updates from Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka and Zadar. Croatian Aviation reports that Air Serbia, the national carrier of the Republic of Serbia, began regular traffic on the Belgrade - Zagreb - Belgrade route, while traffic to other airports in Croatia will be established in the next 10 days. Air Serbia re-established traffic between the two neighboring capitals on an evening flight from Belgrade to Zagreb on Wednesday. In First Half of 2020, Croatia Achieved 30% of Last Year's Tourist Traffic

July 1, 2020 - The Croatian National Tourist Board announced the latest tourist numbers for the first six months of 2020, which show that Croatia has achieved 30% of last year's tourist traffic. In June this year, 892,000 tourists who came to Croatia realized 4.8 million overnight stays, which is 32 percent of the overnight stays realized in June 2019. Lifting Travel Restrictions on Croatian Borders: Official Government Update

July 1, 2020 - The Croatian Government's official Koronavirus.hr website issued some official travel updates yesterday. Please find it below in full.  As of midnight, all EU/EEA nationals and persons with permanent residence in EU/EEA country can enter Croatia freely, without restrictions. All travellers are, however, advised to fill out the form on the ENTERCROATIA web-page.  The EU Council today adopted a recommendation on the gradual lifting of the temporary restrictions on non-essential travel into the EU. Flights to Croatia: Iberia to Dubrovnik, Windrose to Split, Finnair to Both Airports

Croatian Aviation reports that Dubrovnik and Split airports are recording more airline announcements for July this year, as the flight schedule of three airlines, Iberia, Windrose and Finnair, has been announced.  Spain's Iberia will return to Dubrovnik Airport with a regular flight from Madrid. Bozinovic: List of 15 Countries for Open Borders to Include to Bosnia and Herzegovina

ZAGREB, June 30, 2020 - EU member states will on Wednesday open their borders to 15 countries, including Serbia and Montenegro, while Croatia has added Bosnia and Herzegovina, Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic said on Tuesday, adding that there were fewer new cases of COVID-19 in Bosnia than in Serbia and the decision is in Croatia's economics interest.
