With both DORH and a Parliamentary Investigative Commission on Agrokor's case, what will be unearthed?
As Index reports on the 4th of October, 2017, Croatia's Attorney General Dinko Cvitan commented on the establishment of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for Agrokor.
As N1 broadcasted, Cvitan said that the expected report on Agrokor's business is important, but also that the commission would not interfere with any work being carried out by DORH.
"I don't know what it [the results of the investigation] will bring, nor when it'll be published, but it's important," Cvitan stated when questioned about the late report.
"I don't think it will interfere with our [DORH] work if it [parliamentary investigative commission] is founded, they'll deal with some other aspects, and with the facts, in order to detect possible criminal offenses," he said. The state will provide funds for work on the Agrokor case.
Cvitan noted that this is a case in which all the necessary experts are involved, and didn't comment on whether or not there were any foreign experts involved in the situation. He added that the state will provide the necessary financial means to work properly on the case.
