It is interesting how much can change in 20 years. People change, technology changes and cities can change too. And as unbelievable as it sounds, Split - this beautiful ancient city, was looking much different in March 1996.
People dressed funny and cars driving through Marmontova street (could you actually tell, it is the same street?), no cell phones,..all that is history, but there are some things that will never change in Split. One of those things is the full Riva in Split, where people meet, where people talk, where the heart of the city is.
