Leaders of the Croatian Football Federation never replied to offers sent by Croatian Radio Television
Croatian Football Federation must really be doing well financially these days, since they turned down HRT's €20 000 offer for TV coverage of the friendly match between Russia and Croatia which will be played in Rostov on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
According to Index.hr, Croatian Radio Television (HRT) sent the first offer way back on August 28 and no one from the Federation ever replied. The offer was repeated and once again ignored by the President of the Croatian Football Federation Davor Šuker, or so they say at HRT. In other words, Croatian Radio Television never received any kind of a response from Šuker & Co.
HRT had no luck with the radio coverage either so Croatian radio will cover the game from their studio in Split using live stream, as will most of the other reporters in Croatia. HRT will not be covering tomorrow's U-21 qualifying game between Croatia and Spain either, that coverage was sold to Arena 1.
