More than 80 girls and boys occupied the Central Court in Bol and challenged the professional players
The Kid’s Days at the WTA and ATP Tour are always beautiful to watch, but once again, the organisers of the WTA Croatia Bol Open made an extra effort. They brought children from Međugorje, and with more local children involved, there were more than 80 kids at the Central Court in Bol on June 6. 2017.
Ajla Tomljanović, Johanna Larson, Tena Lukas, and Aleksandra Krunić had no chance to win this match, as the kids had the distinct advantage in numbers. The defeat was not hard for the players, as they were overwhelmed with attention.
Ajla Tomljanović said that she always enjoys the Kid’s Day, but this was a special one: “Croatian kids have that something special, care and sincerity. I have never seen these many children on a tennis court at the same time!”
The tournament went on, and we will bring you the full results of the Croatian players later.
