Ante Čačić nominated players for Croatian national football team to play against Israel and Hungary
Croatian squad will face Israel and Hungary this month, and national coach, Ante Čačić announced who will get a chance to play on Monday, March 7, 2016. No surprises on the list for those who follow Croatian football on a daily basis, as the only new name on the list, Domagoj Antolić was recommended by Zoran Mamić just a few days ago. Here is the full list;
Goalkeepers: Danijel Subašić, Lovre Kalinić, Ivan Vargić
Defenders: Darijo Srna, Vedran Ćorluka, Domagoj Vida, Dejan Lovren, Gordon Schildenfeld, Šime Vrsaljko
Midfielders: Luka Modrić, Ivan Rakitić, Ivan Perišić, Mateo Kovačić, Milan Badelj, Marcelo Brozović, Alen Halilović, Domagoj Antolić
Attackers: Mario Mandžukić, Nikola Kalinić, Marko Pjaca
This team will play against Israel in Osijek, March 23, and Hungary in Budapest on March 26. CFF officials have a plan to include Ivica Olić in the Osijek match, as a farewell game for him, but Olić is yet to give them his reply.
