Bojan Bogdanović and his Indiana Pacers lost to Ivica Zubac and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center on Tuesday.
The LA Clippers and Ivica Zubac secured a home victory against the Indiana Pacers and Croatian star Bojan Bogdanović (115:109), and further secured their place that leads to the Western Conference playoffs, reports Gol.hr on March 20, 2019.
Even though his team tasted defeat, Bojan Bogdanović was still the best scorer for the Pacers with 19 points (shots in play 6/12, three-pointers 2/4), five rebounds and two assists. In the end, however, the key attack for the Clippers' win was when Bojan slipped and allowed Patrick Beverley to pass him and shoot for the victory. Nineteen points, eight rebounds and seven assists were added by Tyreke Evans and 13 points, 16 rebounds and six assists by Domantas Sabonis.
Ivica Zubac had a solid game in the victory of his team and scored 12 points during his 19 minutes on the court (shots in play 4/6 shot). Zubac added nine rebounds and one assist.
In other NBA news, Dario Šarić’s Minnesota Timberwolves lost at home to the current NBA champions the Golden State Warriors 117:107. In the Timberwolves' loss, the Croatian representative added 13 points (shots in play 3/10, three-pointers 0/3), six rebounds and two assists.
Stephen Curry scored 22 of his 36 points in the third quarter, and Klay Thompson added 28 for Golden State. Karl-Anthony Towns led Minnesota with 26 points and 21 rebounds.
The Pacers will play the Warriors next on Friday, March 22, while the Timberwolves will play the Hornets, and Dragan Bender’s Phoenix Suns face the Pistons. Ivica Zubac’s Clippers’ will face Ante Žižić’s Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, while Mario Hezonja’s NY Knicks will face the Nuggets on the same day.
