Ramljak to Stay until Appointment of New Agrokor Administration

ZAGREB, February 21, 2018 - Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said on Wednesday that the process of emergency administration and talks on a settlement in the ailing Agrokor food conglomerate would continue, that the government was conducting consultations so that it could recommend the appointment of a new emergency administration to the Commercial Court, and that, until then, Ante Ramljak would continue doing his job.

ZAGREB, February 21, 2018 – MOST party leader Božo Petrov said on Wednesday that, in the wake of the resignation of emergency administrator in the ailing Agrokor food and retail conglomerate, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Martina Dalić should also step down, and he called on Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to propose a new candidate for Agrokor's emergency administrator to contain further damage.

Agrokor Administrator Asks for 3-Month Extension

ZAGREB, February 15, 2018 - While presenting the course of the emergency administration in the private ailing conglomerate Agrokor on Thursday, emergency administrator Ante Ramljak said that he had asked for a three-month prolongation of the administration, which is supposed to be brought to a conclusion on 10 April 2018 under the Law on Extraordinary Administration Proceedings in Companies of Systemic Importance of Croatia. The law stipulates that the administration should last 12 months, plus three more if necessary.
