Croatia Logs 30 New COVID-19 Cases, Five Deaths

ZAGREB, 6 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours 30 new coronavirus cases, out of 587 tests, and five related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday.

There are 1,626 active cases, including 186 hospitalized patients, six of whom are on ventilators, while 749 persons are self-isolating.

To date Croatia has registered 1,138,076 coronavirus cases, the death toll stands at 16,003, and 70.80% of the adult population has been vaccinated.

Croatia Records 267 New Coronavirus Cases, No Deaths

ZAGREB, 4 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours 267 coronavirus cases, out of 1,960 tests, and no related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Saturday.

There are 2,022 active cases, including 184 hospitalized patients, six of whom are on ventilators, while 966 persons are self-isolating.

To date Croatia has registered 1,137,864 coronavirus cases, the death toll stands at 15,998, and 70.8% of the adult population has been vaccinated.

Croatia Reports 486 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Deaths

ZAGREB, 2 June 2022 - In the last 24 hours, 486 coronavirus cases, out of 2,891 tests, and four related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are 2,091 active cases, including 202 hospitalised patients, six of whom are on ventilators, while 688 persons are self-isolating.

To date Croatia has registered 1,137,192 coronavirus cases, the death toll stands at 15,995, and 70.80% of the adult population has been vaccinated, including 68.75% fully.

Croatia Logs 47 New Coronavirus Cases, 3 Deaths

ZAGREB, 31 May 2022 - In the past 24 hours, 47 coronavirus cases, out of 1,420 tests, and three related deaths were registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

There are 1,802 active cases, including 223 hospitalised patients, five of whom are on ventilators, while 672 persons are self-isolating.

To date 1,136,500 coronavirus cases have been registered in Croatia, the death toll is 15,987, and 70.79% of the adult population has been vaccinated.

Mask-wearing mandate in health system extended

The team has decided that the obligation to wear masks in healthcare facilities, including pharmacies, is to be extended until 30 June, the Croatian Chamber of Pharmacists said today.

Croatia Reports 37 COVID-19 Cases, Two Related Deaths

ZAGREB, 23 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 37 new coronavirus cases and two COVID-related deaths in the past 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team said on Monday.

The number of active cases now stands at 2,619, including 263 persons who are hospitalized and of whom five are on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Croatia on 25 February 2020, a total of 1,134,269 COVID cases have been registered and 15,968 people have died as a consequence.

A total of 1,184 people are self-isolating.

So far 4,859,993 people have been tested, including 896 in the past 24 hours.

By Sunday, 5,250,955 doses of a COVID vaccine had been administered, and 59.51 percent of the total population, or 70.78 percent of adults, had been vaccinated.

Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 205 New Cases, 5 Deaths

ZAGREB, 22 May 2022 - In the last 24 hours, there have been 205 new cases of the infection with coronavirus and the disease has taken five more lives, according to the data presented by Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team on Sunday.

There are currently 3,106 active cases of COVID-19, and 264 patients diagnosed with this diseases are receiving hospital treatment, of whom five are placed on ventilatrs.

 Also, 1,536 Croatians are self-isolating.

Since the first registered case of this infectious disease in Croatia on 25 February 2020, over 1.13 million cases have been registered. Currently the COVID-related death toll stands at 15,966.

So far, there have been 1,115,160 recoveries, including 534 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 59.51% of the total population, or 70.78% of adults, have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Croatia Logs 426 New Coronavirus Cases, 4 Deaths

ZAGREB, 20 May 2022 - Croatia has recorded 426 new coronavirus cases and four COVID-related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national COVID-19 response team reported on Friday.

The total number of active cases in the country currently stands at 3,556. Of them, 273 infected persons are being treated in hospital, including nine who are on ventilators, while 1,695 people are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case was registered in the country, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has been confirmed in 1,133, 565 persons, of whom 15,954 have died and 1,114,055 have recovered, including 763 in the last 24 hours. 

A total of 4,853,937 people have tested for the novel virus to date, including 2,684 in the last 24 hours.

By Thursday, 5,250,537 COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered, and 59.51 percent of the total population, or 70.78 percent of adults, had been vaccinated.

To date, 2,314,201 people have received at least one dose and 2,243,283 of them have been fully vaccinated, which is 68.72 percent of the adult population.
