ZAGREB, October 11, 2018 - The Jutarnji List daily reported on Wednesday evening that the civil initiatives "The People Decide" and "The Truth About the Istanbul Convention" had failed to collect the sufficient number of signatures to call state referendums.

ZAGREB, August 2, 2018 - The government on Thursday instructed the Public Administration Ministry and the Ministry of the Interior to verify the number and authenticity of signatures collected by the "Truth about the Istanbul Convention" initiative and the "People Decide" initiative and to check if the signatures for the petition against the Convention were collected in line with the law.

ZAGREB, May 23, 2018 - The Truth about the Istanbul Convention civil initiative on Wednesday reported that in the first week of collecting signatures in a campaign to call a referendum on revoking the Istanbul Convention, it had collected 215,000 signatures, and that they still needed 160,000 signatures for a referendum to be called.
