June 1, 2021 - The Split Spring street food festival returns to Đardin this week with top eats, good beats, and all the summer fun you hoped for! 

After an atypical spring, the beginning of a real tourist season in Split, which has finally started with the easing of epidemiological measures, will be marked by a favorite outdoor gathering - Split Spring by Staropramen. This culinary-entertaining-cultural event will take place for the third time in Strossmayer (Đardin) Park from Thursday, June 3, to June 12.

During these ten days, all visitors will be able to enjoy the specialties of some of the best Split restaurants. The offer is respectable, and there will be something for everyone at these street food houses. Thus, restaurant pop-up street food editions will be offered by ArtiČok, Šug, Misto, Pizza prasizza by Bokamorra, Mazzgoon and Noor bar, Corto Maltese and Pandora Greenbox vegeteria, Uje oil bar, Maka Maka, Fabrique, Grill club Maestro by Biberon and the already favorite Varaždin guests - American bar Dollar. 

Since the first edition, Split Spring by Staropramen has become a favorite gathering place in Split thanks to its charm, great atmosphere, and good energy. Come out for Barcaffe coffee, breakfast, lunch, and meetings, or bring the whole family along where the kids can enjoy the Baby Center corner. There will be deck chairs with cold Staropramen and the sounds of birds chirping, and you can even relax and read a book with Jana, grab dinner with friends, and kick off an evening out with Hendricks gin & tonic, Jack Daniels, or the exciting new summer drink WAI hard seltzer.

Every night from 7:30 pm, top DJs and saxophonists will enhance the atmosphere, like DJ Matthew Bee, saxophonist Boris Plazibat and DJ JohnnY I, saxophonist Ivan Skvorc alone and in combination with DJ Sensei, Jaksa Jordes on sax, DJ Kid VA, DJ Nikki Peducci, DJ mirsaisfab, and DJ Rea. With funky, jazz, and RnB rhythms, Split Spring brings the long-awaited start of life to the city. And that is why all of you who are here should not miss visiting Đardin for the next ten sunny days. Split Spring will work from 11 am to 11 pm.

September 16, 2020 - After the first edition of the gourmet street food fair in April 2019, Split Spring returns on September 18 for a special late-summer edition that will last until September 27. 

As in the first year, Split Spring by Staropramen is bringing Split restaurants to the streets, despite the unpredictable corona era. Namely, from September 18 to 27, 2020, the famous Dardin park will feature various street food specialties by Split staples such as Sug and chef Duje Kanajet, ArtiCok, Misto, Mazgoon, Maka Maka, Biberon sushi, Fabrique, Kabinet, Biberon Maestro and special guests from Varazdin American bar Dollar.

The central Split park will be arranged as a relaxing daily picnic area with various picturesque corners designed by Staropramen. There will be a children's zone Baby Center, a corner for reading by Mozaik knjiga, but also five humanitarian corners by the Animal Protection Foundation of Split where you can learn all about foster care for abandoned dogs.

There will be gigs and performances by jazz, blues and RnB performers every day in the early evening and evening. Mate Grgat, Dino Petric, Chuck Borris and DJ Bake, DJ Borna Kokic and many others will perform across the 10 days of the festival. 

A pleasant late-summer atmosphere, excellent street food, cold Staropramen, ice-cold Coca-Cola, gemist by Kutjevo Graševina, cocktails, a quality program, fun activities and photo corners await the people of Split, and all this following epidemiologically recommended measures by the Civil Protection Headquarters!

It's your time to enjoy the outdoors this Friday at Split Spring by Staropramen, September edition. The working hours of the festival are from 12 pm to 11 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.

On Friday, June 28, the 6th Evo Ruke! summer festival begins at Đardin park in Split. Namely, this series of concerts and performances transform Đardin into a jazz, blues, and rock'n'roll paradise.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the live performances of local performers on 73 summer evenings this year, with acts ranging from songwriters to themed days, and even exciting cover bands. And the best part? Entrance is free every night. 

The opening evening will feature The Splitters and the Harpoon Blues Band, Trio Trabacool on Saturdaya, and Cabaret à la Carte on Sunday. The concerts begin at 9:15 pm and the event will last until September 8th, reports Dalmatinski Portal. 

“Citizens, Evo Ruke! invites you to the most beautiful Split park - Đardin where you will surely not stumble upon a bad music note, and where at any time of the day or evening you can always find refreshments and carefully selected Croatian musicians who are prepared to satisfy even the most finicky of guests. Also, let your friends know that something special and different is happening in Split’s Đardin this summer. To be involved in the story, follow the HR Radio Split program and read Dalmatinski Portal. Breath in a little city culture, citizens,”  said the organizers. 

For the opening, the organizers emphasized they have prepared 'something new' - The Splitters, whose excellent single ‘Oboji me’ has hit the radio before their new album is out on Croatia Records, and ‘something old’, or the Harpoon Blues Band who have taken the stage in Split for years. The audience will take care of ‘something borrowed and something blue’, the organizers concluded.

This year, the traditional Festival of Flowers will take place at a new location under new organization.  

Wolfman and "Parks and plantations Ltd." (Parkovi i nasadi d.o.o.) invite you to Strossmayer Garden - Split Đardin, for the third edition displaying urban culture - “Evo Ruke!” This concert series will start June 17 and follow through July 17.
