ZAGREB, July 7, 2018 - Fitch Ratings has affirmed Croatia's long-term foreign-currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at 'BB+' and revised the country's outlook to positive from stable on the grounds of a budget surplus and steady economic growth.
ZAGREB, January 18, 2018 - Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said on Thursday that the decision by the Fitch agency to upgrade Croatia's credit rating from 'BB' to 'BB+' was an encouraging message and expressed hope that the other major credit rating agencies would also upgrade the country's rating.
This is the first upgrade of Croatia’s credit rating since 2004.
