Ruling Coalition Leaders Meet with Prime Minister

ZAGREB, March 6, 2018 - Representatives of the parties comprising the ruling majority said on Monday, after their regular meeting with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, which lasted more than four hours, that they discussed current issues and that new Agrokor emergency administrator Fabris Peruško briefed them about the situation at the heavily-indebted food conglomerate, stressing that there was no mention of the opposition’s initiative for a non-confidence vote in Economy Minister Martina Dalić.

Key Italian Minority MP Unsure about Dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister

ZAGREB, March 5, 2018 - The Croatian Parliament's Deputy Speaker Furio Radin, who represent ethnic Italians and is one of key supporters of the ruling coalition, has said that he does not know if Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Martina Dalić "has any skeletons in the closet" and that he would vote during a no-confidence motion instigated by the opposition against Dalić only in accordance with the facts he is presented with.

Government Wants Agrokor’s Creditors to Be More Active

ZAGREB, February 8, 2018 - Economy Minister Martina Dalić has called on the Temporary Creditors' Council in the ailing Agrokor conglomerate, to agree on a schedule of activities by the middle of next week so that creditors can vote on proposed settlements as soon as possible and to finalise the emergency administration procedure, the ministry said in a press release on Thursday.
