ZAGREB, July 6, 2018 - The scandalous complaint to the Constitutional Court by the “In the Name of the Family” civil society organisation not to introduce IT as a subject in Croatian schools is an attempt not to give everyone the right to an equal opportunity while Croatia is the last in Europe to introduce IT as a compulsory subject, Science and Education Minister Blaženka Divjak said on Friday.
The Education Ministry has issued an instruction that people who change their gender have a right to receive certificates and diplomas with the new name.
ZAGREB, June 10, 2018 - Croatia's Science and Education Ministry will have absorbed an additional 600 million kuna from the European Union funds until the end of this year to upgrade science and research, whereas in the past 12 months, a total of 2.5 billion kuna were withdrawn from the European Social Funds and the European Regional Development Fund, according to a press release issued by the ministry on Sunday marking the first year since Minister Blaženka Divjak took over this government department.
