On Thursday, Split woke up to temperatures in the zero. While temperatures climbed up after the mighty minuses we experienced last week, during the day we even saw the peeping sun, and at 7 degrees Celsius the residents of the city of Split had hope that life would return to normal.
Today, of course, we will be even better - but that is for those of you who love the rain!
Slobodna Dalmacija reports on January 13, 2017 that this morning, Split experienced temperatures around 3 degrees Celsius. Throughout the day we could even see double-digit figures as meteorologists expect temperatures to reach up to 11 degrees, although the rain will be more abundant along the Adriatic.
However, this contact with warmer temperatures will be short-lived, and meteorologists announce colder temperatures coming from the northwest. This afternoon could see the rain in the interior gradually turn into sleet and snow. Snow is expected between 10 and 30 centimeters in the interior.
On Saturday, we should gradually see an ease in precipitation and clearer skies, but the temperature in turn will again plunge below the famous zero.
Is winter over yet?
