Today, we take a look at Varoš.
Varoš is one of the oldest parts of Split. Developed at the same time as other Split suburbs including Dobri, Manuš, and Lučac, Varoš is situated in the west of the city at the foot of the celebrated Marjan hill.
Once a symbol for the poor fishermen of Split, Varoš is known for its architecture complete with the homes of laborers and a local ambient kept alive through the small and narrow streets.
