We know the concert is already free, but what about those of you who want to attend Simple Minds in style?
The Split concert news about the legendary Scottish band Simple Minds has been enthusiastically accepted by many fans of their music, and the live songs of the latest album ‘Walk Between Worlds’ will be tested on May 5, 2018, at Split's famous Žnjan Beach where concertgoers can expect a real pop spectacle. Though the concert is free for all visitors, the organizers have announced that tomorrow, at 12:00, VIP tickets will be released for sale and special Golden Circle tickets will be available through Ticketshop, reports Dalmacija Danas on April 11, 2018.
‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, ‘Alive And Kicking’, ‘Belfast Child’, ‘All The Things She Said’, ‘Love Song’, ‘Let There Be Love’ and ‘Waterfront’ are just some of the songs that have been enjoyed by Simple Minds fans for decades, and their sixth Croatian concert, which kicks off their great summer tour, will also feature songs ‘Magic’ and ‘Sense Of Discovery’ from the very successful album ‘Walk Between Worlds’.
"We love Croatia and we always look forward to concerts in your country. Split is the city we open our summer tour, and every new meeting with Croatian fans is a great honor for us. We are expecting another unforgettable social gathering and musical journey through all that we've done for the past 40 years,” said Jim Kerr, singer of Simple Minds.
The concert titled ‘Žnjan For Everyone’, organized by the City of Split and MPG Live, is held in honor of Sveti Duje and the Split City Day. It will be another big event on this Split cult beach which is famous for historical events, and which will soon receive a modern makeover with fresh and inviting content. If you recall, in 1998, Pope John Paul II visited Split, and almost half a million believers gathered at Žnjan. Lovers of electronic music had a unique opportunity to enjoy the unforgettable concert of world-renowned star David Guetta in 2011 for a great spectacle enjoyed by 10,000 of his fans. The Simple Minds concert announces the new life of Žnjan beach, which in the coming years will surely host some of the world's biggest music stars along with other significant cultural and sporting events.
Although all fans of the cult band can enjoy their favorite songs free of charge, for those who want a more intimate experience and to avoid large crowds upon entry, VIP and Golden Circle tickets will be sold from tomorrow. A limited number of 250 VIP tickets can be insured at a price of 399 kuna from April 11 to April 30, when the price will rise to 499 kuna. Golden Circle tickets which allow fans to be in the ‘pit’, located right next to the stage will also be sold from tomorrow for 160 kuna.
