First Health Tourism Fair Opens in Split!

By 27 April 2018

The first health tourism fair will be held from April 27 to 30, 2018, at the Atrium Hotel in Split.

"Mediteran 365”, the first health tourism fair in Split, will gather medical professionals and representatives from tourism, travel agencies, airline companies, distributors of accommodation and equipment, large and small beauty centers, as well as other equally essential participants in promoting healthy goods and healthy lifestyles in the Mediterranean. In addition to Croatia, the fair will be attended by participants from the neighboring countries and more than 30 countries across Europe, reports HRTurizam on April 27, 2018.

Mediteran 365 brings together representatives from medical and tourist professions in a single place, with the unique goal of extending the tourist season and attracting a large number of tourists in a segment that has not yet been fully utilized and has great potential for development - medical tourism, emphasizes Biljana Mančić, the director of the fair.

“It is precisely in this that the fair organizers see the perspective of tourism development in our area with the aim of achieving 365 days of the season. We believe that we will have extraordinary benefits from this information and from the Mediteran 365 fair, which we believe is needed now and is here to help manage the destination as a desirable place for the 'golden generation' of tourists,” Mancic pointed out.

During Mediteran 365, B2B workshops are organized for exhibitors with speakers representing the achievements of medicine, national health organizations, service providers, specialized international travel agencies and insurance companies. Mediteran 365 also presents a series of lectures on trends, innovations and the key to success in health tourism.
