Arrive in Medjugorje

Parking

By 16 April 2017

There are two parking zones in Medjugorje, located along the main roads, which will take you to St. James Church and the hills, but free parking is also available.

Paid parking

IA Zone is situated along the road leading from the bridge when you enter Medjugorje up to St. James Church. You can park there for 2 KM (1.02 EUR) per hour (Mon-Sun, 7-22). This road is marked green on the map.
IIA Zone is situated along two roads leading from the Ivana Pavla II Street and you have to pay 1 KM (0.5 EUR) per hour (Mon-Sun, 7-22). These two roads are marked blue on the map below.

Free parking

In addition to these marked parking spots along the roads, there are also free car open-air parking lots behind the church and at the feet of both hills, Križevac and Apparition Hill. These are marked as the three red parking spot signs on the map (P).

Another option is to park your car in front of the Konzum and Namex supermarkets (yellow / marigold “P” on the map).

Additionally, if you’re staying at a hotel or a guesthouse, most of these offer parking on the spot, some of them for free.
