Damien Cullen Družak

Originally from South-East Ireland, I first came to the Croatia in 2009 as part of a backpacking trip. I loved the history and culture so much I decided to scrap the rest of my planned route to spend more time here. I rather randomly ended up getting a volunteering job in a hostel in Zagreb. I was hooked on the idea of actually doing a job I enjoyed and felt accomplished doing. So, I decided I would return the following summer 2010 and autumn 2011. In 2012 I decided to pack in Irish life and make the move permanent. In the meantime I had also met my future wife, Ana.
