Mario Romulic and Drazen Stojcic

The work of Osijek photographers, Mario Romulić and Dražen Stojčić, is not only friendship based, but also they share joint passion towards photograph as well as many other aspects of their careers. The cooperation started more than eight years ago after Mario Romulić had hired Stojčić as photographer in his company “Romulić” Multimedia Studio from Osijek. Only three months later their joint work resulted in rather great multimedia project “Osijek, a love story” and certainly the most beautiful Osijek photo monograph, and later in a whole range of other projects.

Mario Romulić, as established Croatian artist, professional and cameraman for numerous international newspapers and TV stations over many years, has not, like many other photographers, given up the traditional photography due to the advent of digital photography. On the other hand, Stojićić’s contacts with photography from his beginning have been related to digital cameras. This is exactly the reason to their persistency in constant overcoming of restraints set by the technology. Either having in mind panoramic photos as long as 12 m, resolutions measured in hundreds of mega pixels or latest photographic equipment, this team has been constantly researching the contemporary photographic techniques. The facts that Mario Romulić & Dražen Stojčić has been the official Canon ambassadors in Croatia as well as very successful business running of “Romulić” Multimedia Studio have been of great significance, making some of the most important inland business subjects their clients.

Romulić gained his experience working in numerous countries of the world: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zaire, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, the Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, Zanzibar, Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Guinea, Iran, India, Yemen, the United Arabic Emirates, Jordan, Syria, Liberia, Malaysia, etc.
