Croatian IT Giant IN2 Signs Contract With International Hospital in Vietnam

By 22 September 2017

The largest Croatian software company, the IN2 group, announced they've signed a contract for software implementation with a private hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, further expanding their business on the Asian market, reported Jutarnji on September 21, 2017.

IN2 closed a deal with the 'Hôpital Français de Hanoï' in collaboration with their business partner, the Spanish company Tich Consulting. After Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam becomes the third Asian country where IN2 is to implement their software in a hospital.

The 'Hôpital Français de Hanoï' (French Hospital of Hanoi) was founded in 1997 as the first international hospital in the country. Formerly named Viet Nam International Hospital, it was privatised in 2000 when it was sold to a French company. It currently employs more than 50 local and foreign medical professionals. The management plans to build a new hospital building to expand the capacity from 65 beds to 170; the increased number of patients and staff calls for the current hospital information system  to be replaced with a new, better one.

"The long-term strategy of IN2 implies a transformation of our group from a regional to a global one, which entails spreading to the Asian market. We have had most success in the health system domain and in digital forensics so far, both abroad and in Croatia, where almost all hospitals use IN2 software", stated CEO of IN2 Ante Mandić.
