Zrće Beach in Novalija, on the island of Pag has a party boy reputation. Essentially the pioneers in bringing beach clubs and after beach parties to the coast of Croatia, Zrće Beach is known as the tried and true party island in the country. Similarly to Tisno, Zrće Beach also hosts music festivals throughout the summer, although this music festival season starts earlier, already beginning at the end of June! With 10 summer music festivals gracing Papaya, Kalypso, and Aquarius clubs on the beach, we’re here to bring you the top 3 not to miss.
Hideout kicks off the summer festival season in Zrce, starting on June 26 and going through June 30 this year. Hideout is where music and clubbing aficionados will discover a host of exciting activities, lively music and dance all day and night. Boasting 5 days, 5 nights, over 100 Djs and pool, boat, after parties, we imagine you won’t be getting much sleep. If you are, there is some apartment accommodation available through the festival, but apartments in the surrounding area on Pag are great as well. This year’s lineup boasts everyone from Jamie xx to Skepta and MK.
Fresh Island is held from July 12 through July 14. Returning for it’s fifth anniversary in 2016, Fresh Island is the only beach festival in Europe where you’ll see DJ’s, MC’s, boat parties, pool parties and more representing the absolute best in Hip-Hop, R&B and Grime. Fresh Island has quickly become Europe’s leading Hip-Hop and Urban music festival, and fans are happy to see it return year after year. This year’s lineup includes Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa. Accommodation and ticket packages are also available through the festival, and the ever so famous boat parties are available for an additional coast.
Closing out the summer festival season on Zrće we have Sonus, lasting from August 21 through 25. Having launched in 2013, Sonus returns annually in what is always surely another epic techno event. This festival boasts a magical five days of partying, boat parties, after parties, and a lot of dancing. This year’s lineup boasts Andhim, Dixon, and literally every techno artist in between.
