Morcheeba to Perform at St. Michael's Fortress in Šibenik

By 17 June 2016

British trip hop group Morcheeba will set the summer stage and perform at St. Michael’s Fortress in Šibenik on July 17 for a true musical treat.

Šibenik is the only concert date in the region that has been included in Morcheeba’s major world tour this year.

Morcheeba was founded in 1995 during the breakthrough of the musical genre “trip hop”, quickly making its way into the international music scene. The great influences and combining of R'n'B, blues and pop with the perfectly peculiar voice of singer Skye Edwards, has gained Morcheeba the affection of audiences worldwide, massive successes from their first album onward, and an international army of loyal fans.

Morcheeba frontman Ross Godfrey has said of this show, "The ambiance of the stage at the fortress of St. Michael looks unreal and beautiful as it was created for our music. We look forward to this concert before our faithful Croatian audience."
