Top 3 Festivals in Pula this Summer

Because the festival season has just about kicked off on the Croatian coast, we are here to continue our series of best festivals throughout Croatian festival locations.

Pula, home to one of the most well preserved Roman amphitheatres in existence, the glistening Adriatic sea, and of course, music festivals, has really boosted its way up the tourism pole in recent years. Home to many music festivals and concert events throughout the year, we think to ourselves, is there a more unique location for a festival than Pula? Here are some of the best you won’t want to miss this year.

Seasplash: The absolute veteran of music festivals in Pula, Seasplash will be in its 14th year this year, making it the longest running Croatian music festival to date. Taking place over 5 days, Seasplash brings in a mixture of acts spanning from all different genres. Boasting 5 stages, workshops, bazaars, chill out zones, and boat parties, Seasplash will be held from July 21-25. Another thing? Camping is included with your ticket!

Dimensions: Known as the little sister of Outlook festival, Dimensions is anything but. This year’s opening party brings the legendary Massive Attack, with other notable artists such as Moodyman, Ben Klock, and Andy Stott. Known as an underground electronic music festival in an abandoned fort, Dimension’s is held in Fort Punta Christo, not far from the center of Pula. This year’s festival is held from August 25-28, and the boat parties are rated the best in Croatia!

Outlook: Europe’s largest bass culture and dubstep festival, Outlook will be in its 9th edition this year. Also taking place at Fort Punta Christo, Outlook also hold concerts in courtyards, “the clearing”, “Noah’s ballroom” and “the dungeon”. This year’s lineup has Damian Jr. Gong Marley and Stormzy to name a few. This year’s festival is held from August 31-September 4, with an epic opening party you won’t want to miss.
