First Finished Croatian 55-pax Semi Submarine Already Sold

By 22 July 2016

After their hugely successful 12-pax version, big brother has already found a buyer.

We have written about Mladen Peharda and his successful semi-submarines on several occasions, followed his journey to the Maldives where he exported two of them, and on July 21, 2016, we are happy to announce that the first 55-pax semi-submarine has already been sold and to none other than the same company that purchased his first ever 12-pax model.

Obviously, buyers were more than happy with the product and decided to upgrade their services in Krk with a larger model.

“It is official, our first 55-pax semi-submarine is now called “Big Marlin”! That is how our loyal customers family Mrsic named it, combining their company name (Marlin Tours) and the fact that this vessel is a “big brother” to our smaller model, Semi-submarine 12”, Mladen shared the good news.

The handover ceremony was held on the Croatian island Krk, Big Marlin’s new home. it sailed into the harbour of Krk accompanied by his two smaller siblings, both of which ar3e also owned by the Mrsic family. The horn honked Big Marlin’s way towards the stone waterfront, where his first visitors greeted it and cheered its way into the harbour.

- Just like four years ago, when we were the first customers that ordered a 12-pax model from Agena Marin, now we are the first buyers of the larger vessel - said Milojka and Kruno Mrsic, satisfied owners of now three semi-submarines in the Island of Krk.

Even though they already own two smaller semi-submarines that work very well from Easter until Halloween, the family wanted to add the 55-pax to their portfolio as well because of the increased number of organised bus trips that in high season bring larger touristic groups in the city of Krk on a daily basis.

For now, Big Marlin will follow already established routes for his “little brothers,” just outside the Krk harbour, that take 40 minutes in a single trip. But in time, he will have his tour around the neighbouring Island of Mali Plavnik, sailing for an hour and a half.

We wish Big Marlin safe seas and lots of guests, and Mladen Peharda and Agena Marin lots of success with this brand new model.
