Boat Trips to the Cape Kamenjak

The Cape Kamenjak on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula has become one of the top one-day trip destinations for everyone on vacation in Central or Southern Istria. Since so many people want to see it in the peak of the season, traffic jams at the entrance to the natural reserve are quite common. What you also have to know, if you are coming to the Cape for the first time, you’ll probably have to wash your car right after you return.

There is a way around all the hustle, why not visit the cap from the sea? You trip is likely to be more relaxed, you’ll get a better picture of the beauty of the numerous embayments and you get to swim near the caves and jump of some nice cliffs, a meal is usually included in the average price of some HRK250. If you pick the right organiser, the ship will pause at the Cap for over two hours, which will give you time to see some of the natural sights or have a drink at the Safari Bar, one of the most popular places for a drink on the Istrian peninsula.
