Croatian Water Polo Team In The Finals Of The Olympics!

The Barracudas beat Montenegro in the semi-finals 12-8

One more Olympic medal for Croatia is secured on August 18. 2016, in Rio, as Croatian water polo team beat Montenegro 12-8. They played the match of the tournament when it was needed the most. The goalkeeper Marko Bijač was perfect once more at the goal, saving impossible shots and making Montenegrin players desperate in some moments of the game.

Bijač finished the game with ten saved shots, but it is not so much the number of the saves that is impressive, as the quality of those saves was excellent. Andro Bušlje scored four goals, and Anđelo Šetka added three. Maro Joković had four assists to complete the perfect game for Croatia.

The Olympic water polo final match is scheduled on Saturday evening, and the opponent will be the winner of tonight’s semi-final game between Italy and Serbia.
