Californians get a chance to taste sarma and enjoy Croatian music and dance at the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento, California on November 19, 2016
The 21st annual Fall Dinner Dance, also known as Sarma Night, will take place at the Sacramento Croatian American Cultural Center in California. Not to worry if you do not like sarma, there will be plenty other food there, this is a Croatian event after all.
At the all-you-can eat dinner, as well as sarma (stuffed cabbage), there will be a variety of Croatian food, such as rotisserie BBQ pork, smoked meats, turkey, salads and side dishes (including mlinci), and not forgetting Ettore’s European specialty cakes and coffee. If you are still hungry there will also be take-out food available for purchase.
Enjoy some Croatian hospitality, music and dance, while helping kids preserve their tradition. All the proceeds go to benefit the local Croatian folklore group, the Skalinada Ansamble.
