The Assembly of Kvarner County has made a decision on amending the county spatial plan in Matalda in the area of Punta Križa on the island of Cres, in which the golf course resort project by Lošinj company Jadranka has declared county interest.
The company has started the development of strategic assessment, focusing on the environmental impact study, reports Poslovni.hr.
"During this time, the Institute for Physical Planning should define the final capacity, and we are left with the presentation of the final conceptual design and the security of all permits. We expect to have the implementation of the project started within three years. According to current estimates, the value of the project is around 100 million euros.
It is foreseen that the golf resort will include a hotel with 100 rooms, 15 to 20 villas with swimming pools, two championship golf courses with 18 holes, a heliport and a small marina. The heliport is planned to bring in guests from a much wider area,” says CEO of Jadranka Sanjin Šolić.
Before the decision by the County Assembly which was preceded by two and a half years of preparation work, a consensus with citizens and the local government, along with the Krk diocese who owns the land, have signed a long-term contract on the terrain stating that there will be no construction of apartments and sales of the property.
