British NME, an institution of rock journalism, has included Zagreb's summer rock festival INmusic among the 12 most popular festivals in the world.
This Jarun music festival is now considered on the same scale with more established wholesale rock festivals such as Glastonbury, the legendary Isle Of Wight, and even west coast favorite Coachella in sunny California, reports Jutarnji List.
The 2016 line up for INmusic boasted big name artists such as Florence + the Machine, PJ Harvey and Wilco. The 2016 festival even crafted a one of a kind festival stage dedicated to pay tribute to David Bowie and Nikola Tesla, which operated within a 100ft tall construction replica of the original Tesla's Wardenclyffe tower. The Tesla Tower Stage at INmusic festival was the first of its kind ever built in the world.
The NME list of most popular well-known festivals also includes Reading And Leeds, V Festival, Wireless, Bestival, NOS Alive, Opener, Download and T in The Park.
