Arena Zagreb is getting ready for one biggest electronic music NYE parties with "Zagreb 360 New Year's Eve". The event expects close to 10,000 visitors from more than 60 countries and was ranked among the top five NYE parties in the world by world music magazine DJ Mag.

The organizers of event, Adria MM (which is also the licensee of Ultra Europe festival), said at a press conference that this New Year's spectacle opens Croatia Winter Music Festival, which will run through Zagreb throughout next week, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on December 30, 2016.

This blowout New Year's Eve bash is bringing together some of the strongest performers and DJs in the electronic music world, led by the legendary Armin Van Buuren who will usher in the New Year.

"Tickets for the festival and New Year's Eve party have been sold in more than 60 countries worldwide, and over the last few days we are seeing increased sales and we have reason to believe the Arena will be full," stated the organizers, who also presented many interesting details about the arrivals to the event including the first landing of a private plane from South Korea in Zagreb. It is interesting to note that most of the guests have chosen hotels in Zagreb for their accommodation, and that most guests, after the New Year's Eve party, will stay in Zagreb another day.

As of yesterday, most all of the equipment had arrived to the Arena including a stage measuring 300 square meters and as heavy as 90 tons, which has an LED screen of 150 square meters. There are also 300 lighting fixtures and more than 100 speakers boasting 100 kilowatts.

After the New Year's Eve blowout follows six parties in Zagreb from Sunday, January 1 to Friday, January 6, while on Monday and Tuesday, the 2nd and 3rd of January, the Arena will host an international gaming tournament.

The anticipated gaming tournament will host matches in League of Legends, FIFA, Overwatch, and Hearthstone, and according to the organizers, will bring some of the world's best players to compete against Croatian and European players for prize money of 10,000 euros. There will be close to 1,000 players and visitors expected to the tournament, including a VIP YouTube conference with the participation of the most popular regional YouTubers.

In addition to Adria MM, the City of Zagreb, the Tourist Board of Zagreb, and the tourist agency Atlas are also the organizers of the festival.
