The Croatian national team and Juventus player is currently in Zagreb recovering from an injury
Marko Pjaca, Croatian footballer playing for the Croatian national team and as a winger for one of the top Italian football clubs, Juventus, visited Zagreb ZOO yesterday
He enjoyed visiting the animals, especially a family of lions which, as he was told by zookeepers, share his love of playing with a football.
The two youngest lions, Tuma and Uzuri, got a big ball as a present for their birthday a few weeks ago, and they spent days playing with it in their outside dwelling.
The male cub, Tuma, has developed a big mane, so Marko, who used to play for Dinamo before joining Juventus in 2016, commented that he reminded him of Dinamo’s mascot, Plavko.

Marko, who is only 22 and one of the top 10 highest-paid Croatian footballers, is currently in Zagreb recovering from an injury he suffered during a friendly match between the national teams of Croatia and Estonia in March. Marko tore his cruciate ligament and external meniscus during the game and should be resting until September.
