Everything is ready for the start of the ULTRA Europe music festival which will be held in Split this weekend.
Today we bring you press release from the organizers of ULTRA Europe - read the fine print.
Another magnificent edition of ULTRA Europe is upon us!
Giraffe Palm Beach House will open their doors to festivalgoers tonight, and those who managed to secure a ticket for opening party will start this year's ULTRA adventure with techno and deep house producer and DJ Nicole Moudaber. This sold out party is a super start to all that awaits festivalgoers at the celebratory 5th edition of the festival.
During ULTRA Europe, the city of Split turns into the world's largest musical center, hosting thousands of visitors from all corners of the world. The festival has become an amazing postcard for tourists, showcasing the many popular locations around Split through hundreds of accredited international journalists.
To ensure that everything is held to the highest of standards, more than 2,000 people are involved in the organization of the festival and numerous city services are prepared to work 24 hours a day to be readily available to all citizens and visitors of Split. Considering the high standards of security at this year’s event, organizers recommend that all visitors meet and adhere to the festival's rules.
In order to enter the stadium as painless and quick as possible, and to ensure that the safety of all visitors is at the highest level, festivalgoers are advised against bringing rucksacks or large bags into the festival. If it is necessary, bags must be plastic and transparent or no larger than 33x43 cm. Small clutch bags and fanny packs will be allowed.
Professional cameras and video cameras are now allowed into the festival, but GoPros and other action cameras will be allowed. Any type of flammable substances, sprays, alcoholic beverages and food, lasers, large chains, water pistols, face masks, and any illegal substances are strictly forbidden at the festival venue.
It is important to emphasize that visitors must have a valid identification document or driver's license for entry into the festival.
The organizers of ULTRA encourage all festivalgoers to respect the destination, the tourist policy, and the rules of conduct prescribed by law in the city of Split.
A welcome message, as well as behavioral recommendations, from the City of Split:
“Welcome to Split! We will make sure that your stay in our city will be a beautiful memory that you will remember forever, and if you respect the city rules, you too will remain as a positive memory to our citizens.
By decree of communal order, visitors are not allowed to walk through the old city center of Split without clothing or in a swimsuit. Those who fail to comply with this provision will be subject to a 500.00 HRK fine or 1,000.00 HRK following the misdemeanor procedure.
Instead of paying this penalty, we are certain that there are one million better ways you can spend your money.
We wish you a pleasant stay in Split!”
One of the partners of this year's edition is Ridecar, a company that believes ULTRA is crucial to promoting Croatia during the tourist season. They have prepared several benefits to users this year, including free tickets to the festival when hiring their vehicles. The service, which is also the official carrier of the festival's performers, is available to visitors at very affordable prices.
From today, ULTRA merchandise will be available to purchase in front of Poljud, and during the festival, ULTRA branded products will be available at two retail outlets surrounding the stadium and on the island of Hvar. Around the center of town, festivalgoers can find many ULTRA info points.
