By 10 January 2016

This is one performance he will remember for the rest of his life

Creating unforgettable memories for tourists is the main goal of every tourist destination, and we are sure one Korean tourist will never forget his recent visit to Split. As reported by N1 Television on January 09, 2016, young tourist from South Korea Songjaemin decided to learn as many songs in a foreign language and sing them in their country of origin. One of the songs on his list was “Cesarica”, written by Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni and originally performed by Oliver Dragojević.

Croatia was the 17th country on his travel list, so when he arrived in Split, he talked his friend into visiting Vestibul where he planned to perform the song. When they got there, a klapa was performing one of their daily concerts so he asked these professional singers if they could lend a hand: “At first, they didn’t understand what I wanted to do, but when we started practicing in front of them, it didn’t take long for them to join in” says Sonjeamin.

"I am singing Cesarica” with a professional klapa in Split, can you believe it!?” he quickly posted on his YouTube channel, adding that the song was recorded without any prior preparations or rehearsals.

“This is very special for me because the original singer also lives in this city. I feel like a real Dalmatian right now. After my performance, klapa Vestibu gave me their CD and a can of beer. This was an amazing experience! BEST VIDEO I EVER MADE AND I WILL NEVER EVER EVER FORGET IT..I feel this is a gift for my 100 days of travel. Hvala!! vidimo ce! – Sonjeamin added on YouTube.
