Hov-Hov Restaurant for Dogs Opens at Fuliranje in Zagreb!

By 18 December 2017

Love dogs? So does Zagreb!

Today, a special bakery just for dogs, Hov-Hov, located at Zagreb's popular Fuliranje, opened the doors to the first dog restaurant, where our four-legged friends will be able to enjoy freshly prepared food.

Bojan Jambrošić, Luka Nižetić, Vanja Matujec, Boris Mirković and Lucia Stefania Glavich Manarich came with their four-legged friends to see what the new restaurant had to offer. While dog owners enjoyed Corn Dog Bites and enjoyed Oreo fritule with top quality gin tonic from the nearby 50 Burgers&Champagne cottage, their dogs (and their wagging tails) enjoyed cakes with coconut, brownies, muffins, lollipops made with berries and meatballs, and these are just some of the dog friendly treats offered at this totally original location.

Those who are most into seafood can get their teeth into tuna cakes. All the products on offer are made from natural ingredients, without preservatives, additives or flavour enhancers, so they can be consumed by dogs who suffer with allergy issues as well as those with other health problems. Look for Hov-Hov's festive cottage across from Zagreb's Hotel Palace, bring your pet to a real feast, and you can enjoy yourself at one of the many gourmet/gastro cottages at Fuliranje. This most unique restaurant will be open every day until the 1st of January 2018, from 12:00 to 23:00.

On the menu, wet food snacks made from 100% fresh meat can be found. The dishes are made with both taste and nutritional value in mind, so dogs can enjoy beef and duck, cranberry and broccoli; flavour-rich slices of lamb and beef with apple and carrots; products made from game and duck, with carrots and cranberries; chicken and turkey, and there is a great combination of tomatoes and cranberries. The menu is enriched with organic turkey and beef offerings, where dogs can also enjoy coconut and chia seeds. For breeds large and small, a real Christmas treat has been prepared.

Aside from top quality dog food, man's best friends can also dip their snouts into Pawsecco, made just for dogs, in the variant of white wine or rose. Don't worry! Your dog will still be able to walk in a straight line after consuming Pawsecco, in fact, it will also boost his or her immunity and improve overall digestion. It is made with water enriched with minerals, vitamins and medicinal herbs.

Although the dog restaurant has no particular dress code, the Croatian brand Dawg Swag, which is also a patronage of this restaurant, will take care that dogs have the opportunity to be perfectly kitted out from head to tail.
