Renowned Media Experts to Speak at Days of Communication 2018 in Rovinj

The leading marketing communication festival in Croatia announced the first speakers for this year's edition

Communication and marketing professionals will soon be flocking to Rovinj to attend the 6th edition of the international advertising festival. Days of Communication will present two extraordinary media experts this year: Twitter's Global Group Creative Director Jayanta Jenkins, and Brad Parscale, the digital media director for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

The renowned guests were announced at a press conference by the festival director Dunja Ivana Ballon and the president of the Croatian Association of Advertising Agencies Davor Bruketa, reports Glas Istre on January 18, 2018.

"Bringing world's leading experts who are setting trends in our industry to Croatia is a major success, which is why I'm incredibly proud of this year's choice of speakers; it's certainly the best we've had so far. Days of Communication are a unique opportunity for us to hear what they have to say and to pose questions, all the while having a great time in the company of our colleagues in sunny Rovinj", stated Dunja Ivana Ballon. She also said the list of speakers will be expanded with more attractive names in the coming weeks.

"Year after year, we're having festival speakers who are pushing boundaries", Bruketa said. "Last year, we hosted experts from the Cambridge University specialising in big data psychology, who have discussed how to manage such data responsibly. This year, we'll be talking with the digital media director for Trump's campaign, who used real time data and social response to articulate political messages. We'll be discussing controversial topics and the best practices [in the business]", he announced.

Parscale has twenty years of experience as a digital media and political strategist. He's the CEO of Parscale Strategy, a company that deals in political consulting and manages digital media for five hundred American corporations. He's coming to Rovinj to share some key facts about the latest US presidential campaign; as stated by Bruketa, he'll explain how real time data and social response were used in a way that hasn't been seen in political campaigns prior to this one.
