Star Wars Brings the Force to Dubrovnik
As long time enthusiastic Star Wars fans, Željko Erak and Božidar Jukić were totally over the moon when they heard rumours Star Wars Episode VIII would include scenes filmed in Dubrovnik.
As soon as news broke, well the rumours broke, that the eighth episode of Star Wars was to be partly filmed in Dubrovnik the whole city was talking about nothing else. But rather than just gossiping a couple of bright sparks in the city were already thinking outside of the box. They scooped up the domain “starwarsdubrovnik.com” and created a blog of Star Wars news and rumours for Dubrovnik, plus a twitter feed StarWarsDubrovnik (or @starwarsdbk)
Before they could say "May the Force be with you" the blog became the most popular place to find or confirm the latest news about Star Wars and the filming in Dubrovnik.
