In Split this month?
The BlockSplit conference, organised by Blockchain HUB Split, will take place on the 27th and the 28th of April, 2018, at the Faculty of Economics in Split. The conference is a great opportunity for all developers and entrepreneurs who are interested in working with blockchain technology and launching their own products.
This is the largest event of this kind in Croatia and has a large list of both local and international lecturers who are all experts in field of blockchain technology, all of whom have successful projects behind them.
The first day of the conference is a day for workshops, while second day will host lectures on schedule. The workshop day will boast a developer and entrepreneur, as well as an eight hour long set of workshops, followed by an evening Barbeque Beach Party which is a great networking opportunity for all the participants.
Both developers and entrepreneurs can choose from plenty of workshops related to blockchain technology. Participants can choose from a workshop on implementing blockchain into business, game theory with blockchain, building state channels and other useful topics.
The lecture day has two tracks of lectures – Development Talk and Business Talk.
The development talk will host Peter Todd, a Bitcoin Core Developer, with a presentation on what blockchains actually do. Other lecturers will cover smart contracting, privacy in open accounts, blockchain as databases, project financing, legal issues, and the future of banking and finance with blockchain.

The aim of the conference is to cover the most important features of blockchain and offer participants better understanding of this technology and its use in business processes.
